Required Supplies:
Notions
□ Add a Quarter Ruler Plus by CM Designs
□ Printer paper, or your preferred FPP paper (newsprint, vellum, etc.)
□ Roll-n-Press or other seam pressing tool
□ Flat head pins
□ Optional: washable glue stick
□ Optional: 18” rod or dowel to hang quilt. 7/16” or 5/8” diameter.
Fabric
Use quilting cotton for all fabrics
□ ¼ yard of white for envelope. This is sufficient for the optional pocket, as well.
□ FIVE scraps (about 2”x2”) of brown for tree trunks.
□ 1/3 yard of dark green for outer borders, stripe accents, and trees. For a scrappy look, use 1/8 yard of four or more fabrics.
□ 1/8 yard of medium green for stripe accents and corner trees.
□ 1/8 yard of light green for stripe accents and corner trees.
□ 1/8 yard of fabric printed with handwriting or typewriting.
□ 1/8 yard of beige for stripe accents and corner tree backgrounds, or equivalent in multiple fabrics.
□ 1/8 yard of binding fabric of your choice (assumes 2” or 2-1/4” binding strips cut on the grain. For a wider binding, use ¼ yard).
□ ONE Fat Quarter (18”x22”) of backing fabric.
□ ONE 18”x18” scrap of batting
